Još nisam shvatio da li je ovo samo serija crtaća inspirisanih video igrama ili više od toga ali u svakom slučaju jako simpatični crtaći koji su mnogima prirasli za srce
Eight Bit Strange is a animated series that came to be as a result of my studies and interest in Art, Animation, Film and Video Games.
The core idea behind the show was to create something funny, appealing and well crafted. One of the problems at the time was that all of my ideas were too large for me to complete in a reasonable time. The answer came in a form of inspiration while watching the Metal Gear Solid episode of Once Upon a Pixel , a web series I’m a fan of. I instantly fell in love with the simple design of the characters and started brainstorming of simple ideas of my own. After some trial and error, an early version of Snake was born and the series started to take shape. From there a few animation tests cultivated into the first episode which took off on Gametrailers.
So whats next…? Because of the great response , episode 2 is already in the works. Since I make these entirely by myself they tend to take a few weeks to complete. So for starters I’ll be shooting for monthly syndication, with the hopes of going bi-weekly once the full cast of characters is built and tested. The direction of the show will be largely steered by the community. I read every comment and take all your feedback seriously. As the show grows , so will the cast of character that Snake encounters.
Eight Bit Strange is created with Autodesk Maya and rendered out using Mental Ray. Compositing is done with Apple iMovie and garageBand.
